Who we are
This website belongs to GrongTech Media, based on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Australia. In this policy, “we” means GrongTech Media.
What we collect
When you fill in our contact form, project application or website care enquiry, you give us your name and email address, and whatever else you choose to tell us, such as your phone number, your business, your website address and details about your project.
When you visit the site, we collect basic statistics about how people use it, such as which pages you look at, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you use. This is used to see which pages are working. It doesn’t use cookies, and it doesn’t tell us who you are or follow you around the web.
Why we collect it
We use what you send us to reply to you, to quote on your project, and to do the work if you hire us. We use analytics to improve the site. We don’t sell your information and we don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who handles your information
A few services handle it on our behalf. Our website is hosted and delivered by a hosting provider, which also processes your form submissions. Confirmation emails go out through an email delivery service. Videos on our site are played from Vimeo, which may set its own cookies when you press play. These services may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.
Cookies
We don’t use cookies to track you. If you play one of our videos, Vimeo may set its own cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for two years and then delete them, unless we’re working together, in which case we keep what we need for the project and our records.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by using the contact form on this site. You can also block cookies in your browser at any time.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top.
